List of Items Prohibited Items For Shipment to Saudi Arabia

More Saudi Arabia Updates

According to Fedex Cross Border, the following items are prohibited from being included in shipment destined to Saudi Arabia.

  1. All shipments containing jewelry including, but not limited to, gold, silver, platinum, pearls, stones and diamonds, etc. with a declared or commercial value of above US$5 are prohibited and will be confiscated by the customs authorities in Saudi Arabia
  2. Adult Toys
  3. Alcohol and alcohol related items
  4. All kinds of religious books (including but not limited to Qur’an, Bible, etc.)
  5. Any item contrary to the Royal Family, Saudi Arabian or Muslim beliefs or morality
  6. Any item that has a hidden camera or anything that can be used as a spying device (pens, watches, etc.)
  7. Any items which depict or display the female anatomy (other than for strict medical purposes)
  8. Chemicals, Haz and Non-Haz
  9. Commercial shipments containing jewelry including, but not limited to, gold, silver, platinum, pearls, stones and diamonds, etc.
  10. Communications equipment
  11. Compact discs
  12. Computer components & parts
  13. Computer software
  14. Dangerous Goods as defined by IATA (Intl. Air Transport Association)
  15. Dates
  16. Diskettes
  17. Drugs, Prescription and Non-Prescription
  18. Dry Ice
  19. Electrical Shocker (personal use)
  20. Electronic Cigarettes
  21. Films: 8mm, 16mm & 35mm
  22. Films: entertainment
  23. Films: promotional, training
  24. Foodstuffs
  25. Goods either shipped from or manufactured in Israel are completely banned
  26. Grain samples
  27. Herbal Products
  28. Herbal Tea
  29. Items of human concealment such as masks, etc.
  30. Items used for gambling or games of chance
  31. Laser Pointers
  32. Magic Games
  33. Male Enhancement Supplements (creams, tablets or sprays)
  34. Medical samples
  35. Medical/dental supplies & equipment
  36. Metal Detector (personal Use)
  37. Microfiche & microfilm
  38. Phones/modems

  40. Pornography in any form
  41. Radio equipment
  42. Radios or parts thereof
