While it is very much preferred and advised to stay home and refrain from travelling during this time of pandemic, it is still inevitable to move from one area to another (hopefully) for valid reasons. To ensure easier contact tracing in case of COVID-19 infection in a province or city, local governments have devised unique QR codes for use of those entering their respective areas of jurisdiction.
Travelers are asked to present their individual QR Codes generated from the province’s or cities QR code registration site for scanning upon entering the same province or city.
Any personal information in each platform is protected under the Privacy Law and will be used solely for contact tracing.
