How to Register Online and Apply to Take PRC License Exam

Recent graduates who wish to take the Professional Regulation Commission’s licensure exams can now register online.

Through PRC’s online portal online.prc.gov.ph, it is now convenient to lodge applications without going to authorized offices.

This guide covers the procedure of signing up for an account, exam applications and renewal of PRC license / identification cards for registered professionals.

Register for online account

This step is required for all users of the online portal, including those who plan to take licensure exams and those who need to renew their PRC IDs.

Prepare the requirements

  • Email account
  • Philippine mobile contact number
  • Personal information such as course, graduation date and name of school
  • Valid ID card (driver’s license, passport, etc)

Access the PRC online portal at online.prc.gov.ph

  • Read the terms of service under the “Register” tab
  • Click “I Agree” button if you agree to the stated terms.

Provide personal information

  • First name
  • Middle name
  • Last name
  • Suffix (optional)
  • Gender
  • Civil status
  • Date of birth
  • Email address
  • Desired account password (at least 6 characters composed of letters, number and special characters)
  • Click “Register”

Contact details and family background

Enter additional information

  • Citizenship
  • Birthplace
  • Address
  • Town/City, Province
  • Mobile number
  • Telephone number
  • Alternate email address (if any)
  • Father’s full name
  • Father’s citizenship
  • Mother’s full name
  • Mother’s citizenship

Educational background

  • Tertiary school attended
  • Course taken
  • Date of graduation
  • Valid ID number
  • Place where ID was issued
  • Issuance date of ID

A. Click to save information (Click the next button to confirm saving of information)
B. Click on the box if transaction is for Renewal of PRC ID

Provide photo details

  • Click the button to proceed
  • Read the photo requirements
  • Read the guidelines
  • Upload photo, adjust photo settings and click to confirm uploading of photo

Licensure examination application

  • Click to select transaction
  • Select examination tab
  • Select name of examination
  • Select examination type
  • Select date of examination
  • Select place of examination
  • Click to confirm selection

Set licensure exam appointment

  • Select PRC regional office or service center
  • Check information provided for accuracy
  • Click to Proceed
  • Select payment option (UCPB-online, Landbank/BankNet/GCash-online, PRC-cash)
    Note: If you select PRC-Cashier then you have to pay at the selected appointment location.

Rescheduling of exam date (optional)

  • Should you decide to change the exam date, you may click the “Reschedule” button
  • Select new appointment date
  • Input reason for selecting new appointment date
  • Click to confirm new appointment or cancel selection

Review transaction summary and confirm payment

  • Review information you provided
  • Choose payment option
  • Click to submit selection
  • Click to agree to Terms and Conditions
  • Input account number and account PIN number
  • Click “Submit” button to submit and click “OK” button to confirm
  • Print confirmed transaction details

Print exam application form

  • Click “Existing Transaction” button
  • Under “Actions”, click “Print Document” to print your application form.
  • You may also check the payment details by clicking the “Payment Details”
  • Bring the printed application form along with other required documents to the selected PRC office or service center.
