The Philippine Consulate in Hong Kong announced in its Facebook Page that the Filipino community is welcome to meet President Rodrigo R. Duterte in his visit to Hong Kong on April 12.
Those interested are asked to register online by sending copies of their Philippine passport data page, Hong Kong identity card and contact numbers to [email protected] by April 2.
Walk-in registration is also available at the consulate from 9am to 4pm on Wednesday, March 28, and April 2. Those registering must present their passport and Hong Kong identity card.
Due to the President’s visit, the Philippine Consulate in Hong Kong will be closed on Thursday, April 12.
Duterte paid a brief visit in Hong Kong on May 12 last year and met representatives from over 350 community organizations at Regal Airport Hotel before proceeding to Beijing on May 14 for the One Belt, One Road summit.
