Why is this study being done?
The purpose of this research is to find out how migrant workers around the world are affected by the Covid-19 response efforts. It is important to find out how migrant workers are affected by the global pandemic to ensure their safety and well-being. This study is being done by the University of Sunderland in the United Kingdom.
Who can take part?
Anyone who is a migrant worker anywhere in the world and is aged 18 or above.
Do I have to take part?
Participation is entirely voluntary. If you change your mind about taking part in the study, you can withdraw at any point during the session without giving a reason and without penalty.
How long will it take?
Completing the survey should take about 5-10 minutes.

Are there any risks?
Some of the questions survey will ask personal questions that may make you feel uncomfortable, anxious or worried. Please feel free to skip those questions or exit the survey at anytime.
Are there any benefits to taking part?
Although you may find participating interesting, there are no direct benefits in taking part.
Privacy and Confidentiality
This is an anonymous survey. We cannot see who you are from your answers and your answers are treated as confidential information. Contact details, URL addresses, nor IP addresses will be recorded or retained in any way. We are independent academic researchers and not affiliated with any government or employer.
At the end of the survey we do ask if you are interested in a further interview to discuss how the Covid-19 crisis has affected you and if so to please fill in your email address. You are not obliged to take part in this interview at all but if you are, we will store your email address separately from your answers.
Will my data be identifiable?
No, you cannot be identified from the data and participation will be anonymous.
