Qatar Petroleum (QP) is a state-owned public corporation established by Emiri Decree No. 10 in 1974. It is responsible for all phases of the oil and gas industry in the State of Qatar. The principal activities of QP, its subsidiaries and joint ventures are the exploration, production, local and international sale of crude oil, natural gas and gas liquids, refined products, synthetic fuels, petrochemicals, fuel additives, fertilizers, liquefied natural gas (LNG), steel and aluminium.   • Senior Construction Supervisor
    Responsible for supervision of construction works executed by contractors to ensure Department’s assigned projects are constructed in accordance with the approved Scope of Work, engineering design, QHSE standards & specifications. Oversee and provide guidance and advice to Construction Supervisors in review of construction method statements, material submittals, Commissioning and handover to end users. Responsible as performing authority for Permit to Work by the Contractors.
  • Compliance and Procedure Analyst
    1) Coordinate and inspect, monitor, audit, and report on the adherence to Laws, Conventions, Protocols, Guidelines and Regulations applicable pollution preparedness, response and cooperation. 2) Analyse existing and new laws, conventions, protocols, guidelines and regulations, provide information, advice, and develop procedures to ensure compliance and guidance as per the department mandate.

  • Senior Oil Spill Response Coordinator
    Control of all incident responses to Oil Spill releases, coordinating all activities associated with intervention, stabilisation and recovery. Assess the hazard threat, set the appropriate cost effective level of response. Command emergency response teams and interact with local authorities, contractors, international organisation. Conduct inspections, audits and reviews of staff, contractors, training and exrecises to ensure the capability of the response readiness. Act as a technical advisor to QP, joint ventures, the state and as directed by management.
