{"id":707,"date":"2015-10-19T02:15:09","date_gmt":"2015-10-19T02:15:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ofwuae.wpengine.com\/?p=707"},"modified":"2015-10-19T02:15:09","modified_gmt":"2015-10-19T02:15:09","slug":"original-documents-required-for-uae-residence-visa-applications","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pinoy-ofw.com\/uae\/707-original-documents-required-for-uae-residence-visa-applications.html","title":{"rendered":"Original Documents Required for UAE Residence Visa Applications"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Residence visa applications now require original documents as the General Director for Residence and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA) will no longer accept photo copies of supporting documents.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.emirates247.com\/pinas\/emirates\/original-documents-mandatory-for-uae-residency-visa-2015-10-18-1.607083\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Emirates247<\/a>, the new policy has been enforced effective since last week at the GDRFA\u2019s Dubai centres and its headquarters.<\/p>\n<p>However, implementation of the new rules will be strictly enforced at typing centers beginning next month.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGRFAD urges its customers to bring original documents when submitting applications. Photocopies will no longer be accepted,\u201d it said in an advertisement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis procedure is effective from October 14 and will be made compulsory at all service centres including headquarters, GDRFAD service centres and typing centres by November 15, 2015,\u201d it noted.<\/p>\n<p>When submitting an application, applicants are required to bring Emirates Identity card as well as their sponsor&#8217;s bank account details.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s important to note that the Emirates ID of the sponsor and applicant, and the International Bank Account Number (IBAN), should be presented when applying.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGDRFAD regrets receiving applications submitted without original documents from said date,\u201d it noted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Residence visa applications now require original documents as the General Director for Residence and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA) will no longer accept photo copies of supporting documents.
