Filipino Dies in Sharjah Car Crash
Two people were killed while eight others were injured in a car crash on Sharjah’s Maliha Road on Friday, Gulf News reported.
A Filipino and a Pakistani national, both in their late 30s, died on the spot. Those injured suffered moderate to serious injuries. They were being treated at Al Dhaid Hospital.
The operation room at Al Dhaid were alerted about the accident via a call, after which a patrol team, traffic experts and an ambulance were immediately dispatched to the site.
The remains of the Filipino and Pakistani were brought to the morgue of Al Dhaid hospital. The injured were taken to the emergency room.
Police authorities said that crash occurred on Maliha road due to over speeding and not paying attention to the road.
