Name hire is the term used to denote overseas Filipino workers who found jobs abroad directly without the assistance of employment agencies.<\/strong><\/p>\n

While name hired workers are expected to bypass payment of placement fees, they are still required to register at Philippine Overseas Employment Administration office to be processed as legal overseas Filipino workers (OFW). Name hire OFWs are requested to follow the procedures below:<\/p>\n

Required Documents: Household Service Workers
\n<\/strong>1. Employment Contract must be verified by Philippine Overseas Labor Office \/ Authenticated (by the Philippine Embassy \/ Consulate)
\n2. Valid visa\/ entry\/work permit\/ no objection certificate (NOC), or equivalent document.
\n3. TESDA NCII for HSW who has no POEA employment record abroad as Household Service Worker
\n4. Comprehensive Pre-Departure Education Program (CPDEP) certificate from OWWA
\n5. Valid Passport
\n6. At least 23 years old
\n7. Valid Medical certificate from DOH-accredited medical clinic
\n8. One (1) piece 2 x 2 picture (for medical referral)
\n9. Request for exemption from direct hiring policy issued by POLO at the worksite (for direct hired HSW)
\n10. Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS) certificate from POEA
\n11. Labor Market Opinion Confirmation-for Canada Bound Workers only
\n12. Labor condition application \u2013 for USA bound workers only.

Required Documents: Low Skilled Female Workers
\n<\/strong>1. Employment Contract must be verified by Philippine Overseas Labor Office \/ Authenticated (by the Philippine Embassy \/ Consulate)
\n2. Valid visa\/ entry\/work permit\/ no objection certificate (NOC), or equivalent document.
\n3. Valid Passport
\n4. Valid Medical certificate from DOH-accredited medical clinic.
\n5. One (1) piece 2 x 2 picture (for medical referral)
\n6. Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS) certificate from POEA.
\n7. Labor Market Opinion Confirmation-for Canada Bound Workers only
\n8. Labor condition application \u2013 for USA bound workers only.<\/p>\n

Required Documents: Skilled and Professional Workers

\n2. Valid visa\/ entry\/work permit\/ no objection certificate (NOC), or equivalent document
\n3. Valid Passport
\n4. Valid Medical certificate from DOH-accredited medical clinic
\n5. One (1) piece 2 x 2 picture (for medical referral)
\n6. Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS) certificate from POEA
\n7. Labor Market Opinion Confirmation-for Canada Bound Workers only
\n8. Labor condition application \u2013 for USA bound workers only.<\/p>\n

Required Documents: Drivers for Middle East Only
\n<\/strong>1. Employment Contract must be verified by Philippine Overseas Labor Office \/ Authenticated (by the Philippine Embassy \/ Consulate) with insurance for the driver and comprehensive TPL for the vehicle.
\n2. Valid visa\/ entry\/work permit\/ no objection certificate (NOC), or equivalent document

\n4. Valid Medical certificate from DOH-accredited medical clinic
\n5. One (1) piece 2 x 2 picture (for medical referral)

\n<\/strong>US$100.00 (PhP equivalent) – POEA Processing Fee
\nUS$25.00 (PhP equivalent) – OWWA Membership Contribution (valid for two years)
\nPhP2400.00 \u2013 PhilHealth-Medicare (for one year coverage as of 2014)

Procedure, In Charge<\/strong>
\nStep 1: Get number from the guard at the POEA entrance then proceed to the 2nd floor- Name Hire Assistance Division,Guard on duty
\nStep 2. When your number is called proceed to the designated window and submit your documents for evaluation.,Evaluator
\nStep 3. Take a seat and wait for your documents to be evaluated.,Evaluator
