Filipina Arrested in Kuwait for Drug Trafficking

Authorities in Kuwait acting on a tip off arrested a Filipino woman for drug trafficking, Arab Times reported citing Al-Anba daily.

Operatives from the General Department for Drugs Control arrested the suspect after she was put under surveillance and caught her red-handed as she was reportedly selling 10 grams of meth to an undercover police agent in Mahboula. Armed with search and arrest warrant, police authorities raided her home and found another 70 grams of the drug.

During her interrogation, the Filipina confessed she was working for an unidentified inmate at Central Prison.
