A 39-year-old Filipino maid plunged to her death from a shopping mall in Hong Kong Wednesday.
The woman was seen lingering 12:30pm on the podium of the five-storey YOHO Mall Phase 1 in Yuen Long, according to Apple Daily.
According to Asia Times, citing Oriental Daily, the Filipina was upset due to family matters.
While passers-by called the police, the unnamed woman managed to get through a security fence and fell 20 meters to the ground near a bicycle lane along the Castle Peak Road.
She was reportedly conscious after landing on on the ground but was pronounced dead later at the hospital.
No suicide not was found in the vicinity and police is looking into the incident.
