College students and out-of-school youth are welcome to participate in the summer government internship program (GIP) of the DPWH.<\/p>\n<p>Interns will be provided with a daily stipend of 75% the minimum wage in the National Capital Region.<\/p>\n<p>To be considered for the program, you must be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>college student or out-of-school youth with at least a second-year college education<\/li>\n<li>first time GIP participant in the DPWH<\/li>\n<li>18-23 years old<\/li>\n<li>computer literate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interested applicants must submit:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>one photocopy of birth certificate<\/li>\n<li>a fully-accomplished bio-data or personal data sheet<\/li>\n<li>two recent 1\u00d71 ID photos<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>to:<br \/>\nDPWH Capacity Development Division, Human Resource and Administrative Service,<br \/>\n5th Floor, DPWH Head Office Building, Bonifacio Drive, Port Area, Manila<\/p>\n<p>Deadline:\u00a0March 15, 2016.<\/p>\n<p>A written examination shall be conducted for the selection of the 50 interns who will be working in the DPWH for two months starting April 6, 2016.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The head office of the Department of Public Works and Highways will accept another batch of 50 interns this summer.
