{"id":15443,"date":"2016-09-11T01:40:37","date_gmt":"2016-09-11T01:40:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pinoy-ofw.com\/directory\/?p=15443"},"modified":"2016-09-11T01:40:37","modified_gmt":"2016-09-11T01:40:37","slug":"what-are-pdos-requirements-and-procedure-for-filipinos-leaving-the-country-as-immigrants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pinoy-ofw.com\/directory\/what-are-pdos-requirements-and-procedure-for-filipinos-leaving-the-country-as-immigrants-15443.html","title":{"rendered":"What are PDOS requirements and procedure for Filipinos leaving the country as immigrants?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Original and photocopy of passport (must be valid about six months before date of travel)<\/li>\n<li>Original and photocopy of visa<\/li>\n<li>One 2\u00d72 or passport-size ID<\/li>\n<li>One valid ID with photograph (eg., SSS ID, GSIS E-card, PRC ID, driver\u2019s license, postal ID, ARC, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Photocopy of Immigrant Data Summary for USA-bound emigrant (must not be detached from visa packet) except for K visa holder<\/li>\n<li>Original and photocopy of Confirmation of Permanent Residence for Canada-bound emigrant (must not be torn or signed before departure)<\/li>\n<li>Original and photocopy of Certificate of Eligibility for Japan-bound emigrant<\/li>\n<li>Original and photocopy of Nulla Osta (for Italy-bound emigrants)<\/li>\n<li>Original and photocopy of letter of approval for Work to Residence visa (for New Zealand-bound emigrants)<\/li>\n<li>Printed copy of Visa Grant Notification Letter (for Australia-bound emigrants)<\/li>\n<li>Photocopy of employment contract (for immigrant workers)<\/li>\n<li>Duly completed registration form for Emigrants (click here) or for Immigrant Workers (click here)<\/li>\n<li>Payment of P400.00 registration fee<\/li>\n<li>Attendance in the PDOS, guidance counseling or peer counseling session<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>For youth emigrants aged 13 to 19, the following additional documents are also required:<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Photocopy of parent\u2019s passport or valid identification card, if accompanied by parent\/s during registration<\/li>\n<li>Letter of authorization from parent\/s authorizing the guardian to register the child with CFO on their behalf (if accompanied by guardian during registration)<\/li>\n<li>Original and photocopy of DSWD travel clearance (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cfo.gov.ph\/pdf\/DSWDAO02Guidelinestravelclearance.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">click here for the new guidelines on issuance of travel clearance<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Exemptions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For children 12 years old and below are exempted from attending the PDOS. They must, however, be registered, even if by proxy.
