{"id":15438,"date":"2016-09-11T01:32:07","date_gmt":"2016-09-11T01:32:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pinoy-ofw.com\/directory\/?p=15438"},"modified":"2016-09-11T01:32:07","modified_gmt":"2016-09-11T01:32:07","slug":"what-are-the-requirements-for-the-registration-of-new-seafarers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pinoy-ofw.com\/directory\/what-are-the-requirements-for-the-registration-of-new-seafarers-15438.html","title":{"rendered":"What are the requirements for the registration of new seafarers?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Application Form (available at the Seabased Employment office)<\/li>\n<li>Valid Seafarer\u2019s Identification and Record Book (SIRB)<\/li>\n<li>Certification, Authentication, Verification (CAV) (this is issued by the Department of Education, Commission on Higher Education, or Technical Education Skills Development Authority) (except fishermen)<\/li>\n<li>Basic safety training course certificate<\/li>\n<li>2\u00d72 picture and a 1\u00d71 pictures (one of each)<\/li>\n<li>SSS premium print out and certificate of employment for those with one year sea experience or two years related landbased experience<\/li>\n<li>Employment contract from the endorsing agency<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Procedure<\/p>\n<p>Regular<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Get application form at the lobby of the Seabased Employment Accreditation and Processing Center and fill it out. On this form attach a 2\u00d72 ID picture and submit the complete documentary requirements at the SRC unit. Wait for the results.<\/li>\n<li>If documents are complete, they shall be returned with an Order of Payment. If documents are incomplete, they shall be returned with the instruction to supply the missing requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Go to the POEA Cash Division for payment and issuance of the official receipt.<\/li>\n<li>Resubmit complete documents at the designated counter for encoding.<\/li>\n<li>Present the official receipt to the releasing counter for the release of the SRC.<\/li>\n<li>After receiving the SRC, sign it on the space for signatures and attach the 1\u00d71 ID picture then laminate it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>C3 and C2<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Submit agency request with the requirements at the designated counter in the Seabased Employment Accreditation and Processing Center. Wait for the results.<\/li>\n<li>If documents are complete, go to the cashier for payment.
