Doing so enables the Canadian government to identify whether the applicant&#8217;s occupation is suitable or in demand within Canada.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>NOC job classifications<\/h2>\n<p>There are five job classifications under the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC) for the purpose of immigration.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Skill Type 0: Management jobs<\/li>\n<li>Skill Type A: Professional jobs<\/li>\n<li>Skill Type B: Technical and skilled jobs<\/li>\n<li>Skill Type C: Intermediate jobs<\/li>\n<li>Skill Type D: Labor jobs<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>These jobs are grouped according to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>job duties<\/li>\n<li>work a person does<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Canada&#8217;s immigration programs use the NOC to decide if a job or work experience of an applicant meets his or her eligibility. Since Canada has has several immigration programs, certain job classifications are available or limited to certain programs.<\/p>\n<h2>Skilled jobs<\/h2>\n<p>NOC Skill types 0, A or B are considered as skilled jobs according to the 2016 version of the NOC.<\/p>\n<h2>Find your job title in the NOC<\/h2>\n<p>To determine your job type &#8212; whether 0, A, B, C or D &#8212; find the closest occupation that fits your work experience the table below. Then take note of the NOC number and corresponding Skill level or type value.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to apply as a skilled immigrant under under Express Entry, you must possess skill type 0, or level A or B based on NOC. You can apply under Express Entry for the following immigration programs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pinoy-ofw.com\/canada\/1282-federal-skilled-worker-eligibility.html\">Federal Skilled Worker<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Under the Federal Skilled Trades Program<\/li>\n<li>Under the Canadian Experience Class<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If your job is skill level C or D:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You may be able to come to Canada as a provincial nominee (all skill types\/levels),<\/li>\n<li>You may be able to come to Canada through the Atlantic Immigration Pilot (skill type\/level 0, A, B, or C), or<\/li>\n<li>You may be able to work in Canada for up to two years.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[table id=9 \/]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Part of the requirement in migrating or working in Canada is to determine an applicant&#8217;s previous job experience.
