Until recently (30th of November), Filipinos transiting New Zealand to change planes are required to hold a transit visa.

However, this privilege is under the condition that Filipino transit travelers should remain within the airport and provide travel bookings that show stopover of less than 24 hours. For Filipinos who wish to make a short visit or have longer transit time a visitors visa is required.
