Filipinos in Kuwait: How To Check if You’re Slapped With Travel Ban

More OFW Updates

As Kuwait is reportedly on the verge of a big crackdown against illegal residents, many Filipinos and other foreigners would understandably be wary of the plan, even those who are properly documented. Local reports say that as many as 100,000 foreigners without proper work permits or overstayed their visas would be deported.

On the other hand, those who wish to go out of Kuwait for vacation or settle home for good, they could be barred from traveling due to unsettled bills or other offense.

According to Pilipino in Kuwait, if an outbound traveler has outstanding bills such as phone or other utilities, he or she could be told to settle it before being granted permission to fly out of Kuwait.

So it becomes a convenient step to check whether or not you are slapped with travel ban before you go to the airport so you can prepare better.
