The Overseas Welfare Workers Administration (OWWA) is offering its OFW Dependent Scholarship Program (OFWSDP) for baccalaureate or associate courses in state colleges or universities.
The program aims to benefit children or legal dependents of Overseas Filipino Workers. Included in the package are financial assistance worth P20,000 a year or P10,000 per semester to cover tuition fees and other academic related expenses and a group health and accident insurance coverage of P100,000 per scholar.

To apply for the program or for mote inquiries you can visit or contact the regional OWWA office. The OWWA Region XI office is located at Door 31 E-G Cam building, Monteverde Street, Davao City with telephone numbers 2218593 or 3009273.

hello all OWWA staff! Just want to know if i am able to avail the scholarship programs since i don't have a dependents to avail of it. I am an Ex-abroad trying to apply a new job here in phil but since company required work experience and i don't have any credentials to show of coz i worked overseas for 5years. Anything you can advice?

hello to all staff of OWWA ; pwede ba akong maka avail sa inyong scholarship kahit wla akng kamag-ank na OFW. taga toril po ng davao ako nakatira tapos wala pong pera na panggastos ang parents ko gusto ko po sana mag apply kc gusto ko pong makapagtapos sa pag-aaral ko.sana po ay biggyan nyo ng pansin ang comment ko.slamat….

OWWA good morning! my husband is an OFW with a monthly salary of more than 20thou..we have 3 children, 2 of them were in college..and the youngest one is a graduating high school student and we think we were not able to sent him in college next year(di po namin kayang pag sabayin silang 3). Just asking if our youngest son can avail your scholarship?

hello to all staff of OWWA ,,nkapag aaral na po ang bata a 1st year college na but maybe by nxt year hndi na cya mkapag aaral uli ksi hndi na talaga kaya sa gastos,ask lng po if pwde pa po ba cyang mka avail ng OWWA scholarship?kakaalis lng po ng kanyang ina papuntang abbu dabi…ang ahud po nya ay 2,000 dirhams..pls.reply…thank you and god bless us all

Good Day to all staff of OWWA i would to ask coz i heard kasi na may project ang OWWA na pwede mag loan for capital business? my wife work in UAE for 6 years and were palnning to loan for little business here in Davao City. i would like to know if realable ba yong info.
