Philippine Air Force Now Recruiting Applicants
The Philippine Air Force (PAF), through the PAF Personal Management Center is now accepting applicants for Candidate Soldiers (CS) as part of their Manpower Procurement Program.
Col. Connor Anthony Canlas, Commander of the Tactical Operations Group, Northern Mindanao (TOG-10), PAF, said interested individuals who want to pursue a career in the Air Force must attain specific qualifications for them to become a CS.
Applicants must be a natural born Filipino, not be more than 23 years old on December 2011, single, have at least earned 72 units in college and have good moral character.
He/she must have no pending cases in any court, physically and mentally fit for training, and at least be 5 feet tall for both male and female.
Applicants must also provide the following requirements for the examination: two (2) pieces 2×2 picture with white background, transcript of records, and National Statistics Office (NSO) birth certificate, where both copies must be authentic.
Examination date will be on May 31, 2011 at the TOG-10 Headquarters, Lumbia Airport, Cagayan de Oro. Application forms are also available there.

HOW TO JOIN THE PHILIPPINE AIR FORCE
Meet the eligibility requirements.
Requirements are as follows:
–Must be a natural-born citizen of of the Philippines.
–Not a day older than 24 years old and not a day younger than 21 years old as of application.
–Must be single, have never been married nor have any legal obligation to support a child or children.
–Must be physically fit and of good moral character. Must possess a height of at least 5 feet 4 inches for males and 5 feet 2 inches for female.
–Must have a baccalaureate degree from any government-recognized institution on or before the date of application.
Check to see that the PAF is taking applications
This can be done through the Philippine Air Force website, by phone or mail or by stopping into a PAF office in the Philippines. The PAF also will announce when it is accepting new recruits.
Complete and submit the application by the stated deadline of the particular recruitment period.
This can be done through the PAF website or at a PAF station.
After acceptance, complete the necessary examination and training at a PAF training facility.
Typically, this will be at Davao Air Base in Davao City, Philippines.
